Outings and Events
In addition to its quarterly meetings and participating in borough events like the Fourth of July parade and Fall Festival, the Historical Society also sponsors field trips to areas of historical interest.  Included among those trips have been the 2003 behind-the-scenes tour of Freeman’s Auction House in Philadelphia, hosted by Beau Freeman; a bus tour of Haunted Haddonfield, hosted by author Bill Meehan; a trip to the exclusive Union League of Philadelphia in 2005, hosted by James Mundy; a walking tour of historic Bordentown focusing on Thomas Paine and Clara Barton, hosted by Mae Silver;  and most recently the Schuylkill River Tour during the summers of 2010 and 2011.
